Cassie Martin, born in 2002, started guitar at the age of 5. After training at the Conservatoire d’Orl\u00e9ans with Josiane Rabemananjara, she entered the CRR de Paris in 2015 in the class of G\u00e9rard Abiton. In 2017 she obtained her D.E.M unanimously with the congratulations of the jury. She has participated in various guitar ensembles and in numerous sessions with international guitarists (J\u00e9r\u00e9my Jouve, G\u00e9rard Verba, Judica\u00ebl Perroy, etc.). In 2018, she had the honour of working with Sergio Assad and playing the Concerto by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco under the direction of Xavier Delette. In 2019, she joined the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris under the tuition of Olivier Chassain.<\/p>\n
1st prize at the age of 9, Cassie has since been the winner of several national and international competitions including the most recent: 1st Prize of the \u201cConcours International de Guitare en B\u00e9arn\u201d, 3rd Prize of the \u201cConcours International de Bruxelles\u201d in 2019;\u00a01st Prize of the \u201cConcours International\u201d Roland Dyens – Revelations Guitare Classique Magazine in 2018, 1st Prize in the category of Excellence at the \u201cConcous Internationa de Carry-le-Rouet\u201d, 3rd Prize at the \u201cAlberto Ponce Concours International de Guitare de Paris\u201d in 2018.She has also participated in many festivals including: Carry-le-Rouet, Lambesc, Au temps des Guitares. Today, she divides her time between the CNSM of Paris and the stage, which is her greatest source of pleasure, with an impressive repertoire ranging from ancient to contemporary music.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
